SRINAGAR: Two people were killed and three injured in various road accidents in south Kashmir, police said on Tuesday.
A Sumo vehicle hit two people on a motorbike at Budroo village in Anantnag district, killing its 20-year-old rider, Gulzar Ahmed Ganie, on spot.
The pillion rider on the bike, Tauseef Ahmed Shergojri, 22, was injured. He has been shifted to hospital.
At Gulshanabad KP road area in the same district, a vehicle hit 45-year-old Mohammad Ismail Dar.
An injured Dar was shifted to the SMHS hospital in Srinagar where he succumbed.
Meanwhile two people were injured after a Wagon-R vehicle and a motorbike collided at KP Road Hutmurah, Anantnag.
They were sent to hospital for treatment.
