JAMMU: The chopper service to Vaishno Devi cave today remained suspended for the sixth consecutive day due to foggy weather conditions from Katra base camp in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The chopper service remained suspended since October 5 due to fog and cloudy weather conditions prevailing all around in the Trikuta Hills,” an official said.
He also added the service will resume only after the weather conditions will improve.
In view of heavy rush of pilgrims in Katra town due to ongoing Navratras, pilgrims are facing hardships due to suspended helicopter service.
