SRINAGAR: Two youth drowned while bathing in river Jehlum in south Kashmir, police said on Sunday.
Sakib Ahmad Malik, 17, of Cheek-i-Dar, Mattan was bathing in the river at Cheeki-e-Dar Simthan when he drowned.
A police statement said that efforts were on to retrieve the body.
Another boy Adil Ahmad Kuhchay, 16, of Barsoo, Awantipora was bathing in the same river at Barsoo.
His body was fished out and handed over to the family.
