SRINAGAR: Three people were killed and four others were injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said here.
Official said today a motorcyclist hit and critically injured a pedestrian Sheikh Noor Illahi at Peerbagh Chowk in central Kashmir district of Badgam.
He was immediately rushed to hospital from where he was referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in a critical condition. However, he was declared dead by doctors.
A 16-year-old Nazim Ahmad Rather was killed on the spot when a motorcycle he was riding hit an electroci pole at Nasu Badragund in south Kashmir district of Kulgam.
A motorcyclist Bashir Ahmad Pir was injured when he hit and injured a pedestrian Wali Mohammad Mir at Tutigund, Handwara.
Both the injured were rushed to hospital where Mir was declared dead. A scooterist hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Nabi Mir at Anantnag.
