SRINAGAR: Two teenagers are among three people dead in separate incidents across the Kashmir valley, police said on Saturday.
A 19-year-old girl, Saima, was crushed to death by a tractor near Panzagam village in awantipora area south Kashmir. She died on spot.
Police say another teenager committed suicide jumped into the river Jehlum near his home in Banger Mohalla, Bandipora in north Kashmir.
The body of Ishfaq Ahmed Wani, 19, a class 12 student, is yet to be found.
A police officer who spoke to freepresskashmir said Wani’s family has denied that he was under any stress, believed to be a common cause of suicide by students.
Meanwhile the police on Saturday found an unidentified body of a man, believed to be about 70 years old, from the river Jhelum.
The body was taken out from the river at near Adder village in Anantnag districty of southern valley.
