NEW DELHI: Congress today constituted the Coordination Committees for Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
“Congress President Sonia Gandhi has accorded her approval for constituting the Coordination Committees and Disciplinary Committees of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir as well as Election Committee of J&K,” party’s General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi said in a statement here.
“The seven member Coordination Committees for Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir respectively will be headed by General Secretary in-charge,” the statement said.
“The five member Disciplianary Committees of Himachal Pradesh will be led by AN Vidyarthi and the same of Jammu and Kashmir will be chaired by Gurmukh Singh,” it said.
“The 12 member Election Committee of Jammu and Kashmir will be headed by Pradesh Congress Committe president,” it added.
