Participants of Indian Science Congress Can Register Online

SRINAGAR: To help participants of 101st session of the Indian Science Congress (ISC), being held at Jammu University from February 3 to 7, 2014, Governor N N Vohra today launched a website, which will contain every information related to this mega event.
The Governor launched the website of the session of the ISC through video conferencing from the Raj Bhavan here, an official spokesperson said. Interacting with Jammu University vice chancellor Prof M P S Ishar, the Governor, who is Chancellor of the University, emphasised on the importance of ensuring that all the arrangements and logistic facilities required for the projected Indian Science Congress, being held for the first time ever in Jammu and Kashmir, are put in place well in time.

The Vice Chancellor briefed the Governor about the to-date status of the various arrangements being made for the Science Congress.

Giving details, the Vice Chancellor said the Science Congress Website (http://www.isc2014.in [http://www.isc2014.in]) will contain every information related to this mega scientific event. He further informed the Governor that the website will facilitate online registration and accommodation of the delegates and provide them information about other aspects of the Science Congress.

The Governor emphasised on the need for the timely finalisation of all the academic events of the Congress and also hosting the relevant details on the website.

The Vice-Chancellor stated that the Indian Science Congress Association is holding a meeting shortly for finalisation of the academic aspects of the Science Congress and immediately thereafter, the related information would be placed in the public domain.
