SRINAGAR: A minor was killed and five others were injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight.
Official sources said here today three-year-old girl Seerat Jan was hit and critically injured by a motorcycle at Moura Pahalgam in Anantnag district of south Kashmir last evening. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared as brought dead.
In another incident, two brothers identified as Ajaz Ahmad Thoker and Shiraz Ahmad Thoker were injured when their scooter rammed into a roadside tree at Nillow Kulgam, sources said adding that they were hospitalised.
In a separate incident, two persons were injured when a load carrier in which they were travelling collided with another vehicle at Poshkreeri Anantnag while one Nazir Ahmad was injured when two vehicles collided at Sanatnagar here.
All the injured were admitted to hospital.
