SRINAGAR: Unknown gunmen have shot dead a civilian in Sopore town, 25km north of the Kashmir capital Srinagar.
Police say two gunmen entered the house of Muhammad Iqbal Khan in village Cherihar on Tuesday evening and fired their guns at him.
He died instantly.
More details are not immediately available. Police said the deceased was a labourer by profession.
