SRINAGAR: Fire broke out at the Shri Maharaja Hari Singh hospital in Kashmir capital Srinagar this evening.
Witnesses say they saw flames in the casualty ward of the hospital and that fire tenders were soon pressed into service.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Nazir Ahmed told FreePress all the patients have been rescued.
The cause of the fire is not clear, but a police officer says that the fire may been started due to short circuit.
