SRINAGAR: At least 64 youth have been arrested so far for damaging trains and other railway property in different parts of South Kashmir.
A local news agency, CNS, reports quoting sources that the Railway Police analysed video clips of violent anti-india protests and identified angry youth who damaged railway property.
“All the culprits were identified and arrested,” the agency reports.
The youth belong to different places including Awantipora, Islamabad, Kakapora and other areas of the southern valley.
“All these youth have been detained by Railway police,” a police official said.
Despite repeated attempts Superintendent of Police, Railways could not be contacted.
