SRINAGAR: A 22-year-old girl was admitted to hospital in a critical condition after she attempted to commit suicide in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, official sources said here today.
They said a girl, who was not identified, consumed some poisonous substance at her home at Watergam, Kreeri, in Baramulla.
However, other family members immediately took her to local hospital from where she was referred to SMHS hospital in a critical condition.
Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.
