According to him similar notices have been submitted to the Chairman of Legislative Council for discussion in the upper House. Copies of the notices are reproduced here in.
He said an adjournment motion under Rule 56 of Rules of Procedure and conduct of Business in J&K Legislative Assembly was also moved.
“We draw the attention of this House towards the matter of urgent public importance i.e, the series of killings of innocent people in incidents at Gool, Kishtwar, Shopian and Markundal Bandipore, which have compounded sense of insecurity among masses, shaking their confidence in rule of law and plunging the state into uncertainty which can be ignored only at the peril of remaining faith in the system.
“We therefore seek adjournment of the business of the House for purpose of immediate discussion on the issue on tomorrow,” it added.
