SRINAGAR: In a significant move the union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has conferred recognition to Government Dental College and Hospital, Srinagar for issuing the Masters Degree in Dental Surgery in the specialty of Periodontics.
The recognition was confirmed vide notification No V-12017/17/2005-DE (PT) dated February 20, 2013 on recommendations of the Dental Council of India by the Union Ministry, news agency KNS writes.
According to the notification all degrees issued by the Dental College and Hospital from 2012 onwards shall be recognised by the central government.
