SRINAGAR, Nov 9: The army says it has killed four infiltrators who were trying to sneak into this side of the Kashmir valley on Thursday night.
The infiltrators were heavily armed and were intercepted at Hanuman Top in frontier district Kupwara’s Keran sector, a spokesperson said.
“This is a desperate attempt to ensure maximum infiltration by the other side before the traditional routes of infiltration close due to snow. The Indian Army will ensure that none of these efforts succeed.” Lt Col JS Brar, Defence Spokesperson said.
