SRINAGAR, Sept 25: Authorities in Kashmir have announced new timings for schools during the autumn season before they break-off for months-long winter vacations in December.
An official spokesman said schools, both government and private, situated within the municipal limits of Srinagar city shall start from 9 am to 3 pm from October 1.
Those located outside the city municipal limits shall start from 10 am to 4 pm, he said.
“All concerned institutions have been directed to follow strictly the new school timings,” he added.
