SRINAGAR: A woman candidate topped the list in the Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) examination-2012 in the Jammu and Kashmir.
An official spokeman said here this afternoon that the result of the KAS exmination-2012 were declared today. He said Neha Sharma has topped the list.
Out of 65 candiates, 14 women candidates have qualified, he said. Result of examination-2012 conducted for filling up 65 posts in Junior KAS, J&K Police and Accounts Services was notified today.
The preliminary examination was held in August, 2012 in which 14309 candidates participated against 65 posts. The mains written exam was held in March-April, 2013 and interviews of 226 candidates were conducted from 01-07-2013 to 19-07-2013.
This is the fourth consecutive year since 2009 that J&K PSC has conducted the State Civil Services Exams on yearly basis successfully.
