SRINAGAR: With apparent change in weather of Kashmir valley, the school timings will be changed from October 1.
People were witnessing cold weather during morning hours after recent snowfall on upper regions and rain in plains areas.
According to Director School Education Kashmir, the school timings both in government as well as recognised private schools within the Municipal limits of Srinagar City would be from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs.
He said outside Srinagar Municipal limits the timing shall be from 0930 hrs to 1530 hrs with effect from October 01, 2013.
The instructions are to be adhered strictly by all institutions concerned.
