SRINAGAR: At least two people were wounded during clashes between protestors and the police and paramilitaries in Bandipora district of North Kashmir, police said.
Among them was Waheed Malik, 11, who was hit in the eye.
A police statement said Malik, a waiter by profession, was hit by “a stone pelted by miscreants” at main market in Bandipora town.
He was on way to work when he was injured, the police said.
He has been referred to hospital for treatment.
