SRINAGAR: Two people, including a labourer from Bihar, were found dead in suspicious circumstances in the Kashmir valley and Ladakh region, official sources said here today.
They said body of Shamshad Alam, son of Bukhari Miyan, resident of Champaran, Bihar was brought to the district Hospital Pattan by his colleagues.
He was declared dead in the hospital, they said, adding that the cause of his death was not known.
The deceased was working in ITI Pattan as a labourer, they said.Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings.
Yountan Nurboo, son of Tsering Nurboo, resident of Choglamsar, Leh was found hanging at forest Bagh near Choglamsar bridge in Leh.
Leh police has initiated inquest proceedings, they said.
