SRINAGAR: Two people were killed after they slipped from walnut trees in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said here today.
They said a 27-year-old Mohammad Altaf Dar was plucking walnuts from a tree at Kangalhal, Achabal, in Anantnag district when he slipped and fell down.
He was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
In a similar case at Seer Hamdan in Anantnag district, one Mushtaq Ahmad Beigh was critically injured when he fell down from a walnut tree.
He was also immediately rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
