SRINAGAR: An Army soldier has been wounded in an attack by suspected militants in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
Soldiers of the Rashtriya Rifles were on a patrol in Imam Sahib village when a grenade exploded.
One soldier received splinter injuries and was shifted to hospital for help.
No militant group has so far said it carried out the attack.
The whole area has been cordoned off and a hunt has been launched to nab the attackers, officials told the Press Trust of India.
