SRINAGAR: A 35-year-old shepherd slipped to death from a top in Sonamarg woods at the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, official sources said here today.
They said Bashir Ahmad Chopan, a resident of Prang Kangan, was grazing his cattle flock in the forest at Sonamarg when he suddenly slipped from the top.
He died on the spot after he fell on a stone, they said, adding the body was later handed over to his relatives.
