JAMMU: The three-day visit of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Rao Bhagwat commenced here today with meetings with prominent functionaries.
Mr Bhagwat, who arrived in the winter capital Jammu yesterday, held meetings with the functionaries of Purav Sainik Parishad, VHP, Bajrang Dal and other organisations and discussed the present situation in the state.
”The RSS Chief will be discussing the prevailing law and order and political situation with the Sangh functionaries, especially in the aftermath of Kishtwar violence and twin militant attacks in Kathua and Samba districts,” a party source said.
Mr Bhagwat will also address a rally of Swayamsevaks tomorrow evening and then leave for the national capital.
