SRINAGAR: Personnel of the Central reserve Police Force or CRPF went on a rampage and damaged property in Soura area in the city outskirts on Friday, residents say.
They say frantic paramilitary troopers smashed window panes of dozens of houses near Owanta Bhawan.
There were no protests in the area, but a resident said over phone that the soldiers were looking for a couple of boys who had allegedly hurled rocks at them.
