JAMMU: A portion of historic Bahu Fort collapsed on Saturday due to overnight rains in this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A portion of Bahu Fort situated along the banks of Tawi river collapsed as it suffered damages because of intermittent rains,” an official here said.
No incident of any injury has been reported in the incident.
Bahu Fort is an historical building constructed during Maharaja’s time. A famous Kali Temple commonly known as ‘Bawe Wali Mata’ is also situated inside the fort.
