SRINAGAR: A policeman has died after the vehicle he was driving was attacked with stones in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Police said Kanwal Nain Singh lost control over the police bus which turned turtle when it came under attack at Palhallan town, 35km from capital Srinagar on Wednesday.
Some reports have said more than eight people have also been injured in the incident.
Immediately after Eid prayers today (Wednesday), angry youth shouted anti-India slogans and threw rocks.
Police said they have registered a case and begun investigating into the incident.
