JAMMU: The Government has asked people to send their suggestions rgarding the draft Jammu and Kashmir Police Bill, 2013.
An official spokesperson said the “comments/suggestions are invited from general public, social organizations, NGOs, academicians and other stakeholders”.
The draft plan, he said, has been prepared in pursuance to the judgement of the Supreme Court passed relating to the Police reforms.
The draft bill can be accessed by logging on to the website www.jkhome.nic.in.
“All concerned can send their comments/ suggestions to the Home Department either through post or through email ([email protected]) within 15 days commencing from 15th February, 2013,” he said.
