SRINAGAR: Security forces here stepped up vigil on motorcycles plying in Kashmir capital Srinagar ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
Several two-wheelers have been seized, sources said, although the exact number is unclear.
They said this has been done to prevent youth from organising motorcycle rallies and to move places easily for taking part in protest demonstrations.
The police have however denied this.
They say they are only keeping a check on motorcycles without proper documents.
