SRINAGAR: One person was killed and 13 others were injured in different overnight accidents in the Kashmir valley, official sources said here.
They said a vehicle skidded off the road at Puthroo Mood in the frontier district of Kupwara resulting in on the spot death of one Allahuddin and injuries to four others.
The injured were admitted to hospital. Three persons, reportedly tourists, were injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling turned turtle at Hutmoru, Mattan, in outh Kashmir district of Anantnag. The injured were hospitalised.
A pedestrain Gul Mohammad Bhat was hit and injured by a vehicle at Dooru main market while another vehicle dashed against a tree at Balaharan, resulting in injuries to two persons, including driver.
The injured were admitted to different hospitals, they said.
A motorcyclist and his pillion mate were injured when a vehicle hit them in the city outskirts while a woman pedestrain Saleema was hit and injured by a vehicle at Bemina.
The injured were hospitalised.
