The members kept shouting, which continued for about 15 minutes, and nothing was auidable in the din. Later, the Speaker allowed some of the members to speak before the Question- Hour.

Leader of the National NPP in the House Haresh Dev Singh said a Cabinet Sub Committee (CSC) appointed by the government on the creation of new blocks and tehsils in the state has sought objections from the general public.

When the main report of Ganie Committee on the issue was not made public or presented in the House, how can one file objections, Mr Singh said questioned.

He alleged that Ganie committee report was based on political considerations as villages of some constitencies were added to other constituencies. The NPP and BJP members raised slogans against the Ganie report and demanded that it be rejected.

Now a CSC has been appointed to look into the report, he said adding the CSC has sought objections from the public.
