JAMMU: At least ten passengers have died and five others injured after the vehicle they were travelling in rolled down a deep gorge, the second such tragedy in the state in two days.
The vehicle was on its way to Jammu from Mahore belt of Reasi district when it skidded off the road into a gorge in Soit area, police say.
Three critically injured persons have been admitted to GMC Hospital in Jammu for treatment while the other two have been admitted in a hospital in Mahore, police added.
On Sunday evening eight persons were killed and one was injured when a Tempo Traveller in which they were travelling from Bhaderwah town to Chinta skidded off the frozen link road into a 400-ft-deep gorge at Dalain village.
