SRINAGAR: Scores of people in North Kashmir’s Lolab staged a massive protest demonstration against the Public health Engineering Department on Wednesday.
“The employees associated with water tanker (JK09-483 of PHE) do not bother to supply us drinking water but what they do is astounding. They receive commission from those people who construct their houses and provide them drinking water which they utilize on bricks,” one of the protestors told a news agency CNS.
The protestors lay the blame on one of the employees of PHE, Ghulam Mohi-u-Din.
“This employee receive bribe from them for this purpose and for few bucks make the people of the whole area to suffer,” they said and demanded immediate action against the said employee.
