SRINAGAR: Notwithstanding restrictions and curfew, authorities in Kashmir valley have directed all state employees to report for duty.
A curfew was in its fifth day today, but was eased in many parts of the valley including capital Srinagar.
An official spokesperson quoted the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Asgar Samoon as saying that the identity cards of the employees would be treated as curfew/movement passes.
“They have been directed to attend their duties without fail,” he said.
