SRINAGAR, May 15: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday condoled with senior seperatist leader Mohammed Yasin Malik on the demise of his father, an official spokesperson said.
Yasin Malik is the Chairman of his faction of the pro independence party, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and his father died on Monday.
Ironically the Chief Minister’s condolence message did not mention the name of the seperatist leader.
Instead, the Chief Minister simply offered his “condolences on the demise of Ghulam Qadir Malik of Maisuma Srinagar to the bereaved family” and “has prayed for peace to the departed soul”.
