JAMMU: A constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police today allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in outskirts of this winter capital.
Rajinder Singh Charak, a resident of Mahavir Basti, Gho Manassan this morning shot himself with his INSAS rifle in his abdomen in Bhatindi area, police sources said.
On hearing gun shot, his colleagues rushed to the spot and found him profusely bleeding, they said adding, he was immediately shifted to the hospital but was declared as brought dead.
