SRINAGAR: A day after killing Lashker Commander, security forces arrested a member of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) module in north Kashmir today.
A police spokesperson said here troops of 46 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and police conducted a joint operation at Khanpora in Baramulla district.
During the operation one Javid Ahmad Dar, a member of JeM was arrested alongwith one pistol, a magazine and ten rounds of ammunition.
With the arrest of Javid, who was recently assigned a key role by local Jaish commanders for reviving militancy in and around Baramulla town, security forces have foiled the militant attempt.
A Lashker commander was killed yesterday in south Kashmir district of Shopian.
