NEW DELHI, Feb. 9 (1984) An Indian judge today ordered the execution Saturday of a Kashmir secessionist leader, Maqbool Butt, whose release was demanded by the kidnappers of an Indian diplomat who was slain in England last weekend.
The date for hanging the convicted killer was set after President Zail Singh rejected a plea for mercy after the shooting of the 48-year-old diplomat, Ravindra Mhatre.
