SRINAGAR: Governor N N Vohra today summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislature session on September 30.
This will be probably the last session of the Legislature in summer capital, Srinagar, as general Assembly elections are due next year.
An official spokesman said here this afternoon that Mr Vohra in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under section 53 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, has summoned the Legislature to commence session on September 30, 2013.
The state Legislative Assembly and the the Legislative Council shall meet at Srinagar on September 30, at 1000 hrs and at 1100 hrs respectively.
The Governor approved the State Government’s proposal today, he said.
