SRINAGAR: World famous ski resort of Gulmarg and other heights in the Kashmir valley experienced fresh snowfall on Tuesday.
Skiers and hundreds of tourists from different parts of the country and abroad were out on the slopes, already under several feet of snow, when it started to snow again.
Kongdori, Khilanmarg and Affarwat – the highest ski point connected by Cable Car – are among prominent ski slopes in Gulmarg, cherished by many a skier of international repute.
The upper reaches in north Kashmir, including areas near the Line of Control (LoC) also received fresh snowfall since the morning.
Moderate to heavy snowfall was also reported from Holy Amarnath cave shrine and its periphery Sheshnag, Mahaguns, Panjterni and Pisso top on traditional Pahalgam yatra route.
