SRINAGAR: Four people killed and two others were injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley, official sources said here today.
They said a vehicle hit and critically injured a woman Jana Begum at Palpora, in north Kashmir district of Baramulla yesterday. She was rushed to hospital where she died.
A tractor turned turtle resulting in on the spot death of its drive at Chutru in the central Kashmir district of Budgam.
One Mohammad Ashraf Magray was killed on the spot when a vehicle he was driving met with an accident at Sadna-Top, in the frontier district of Kupwara.
In another accident, an unknown vehicle hit and injured Mohammad Sarwar Rather resident of Chethy Bandy, Bandipora at Pinchi Mandi, Safakadal. The injured succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura.
A pedestrian Abdul Rashid Sheikh was hit and injured by a vehicle at Fruit Mandi while an unknown vehicle hit and injured one Rouf Ahmad Kallo at Parimpora.
Both the injured were hospitalised.
