“Gagren CRPF camp has turned into a ‘Killer Camp'”
SRINAGAR: Senior Kashmiri separatist leader and chairman of the moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq has condemned the fresh killing in CRPF firing at Gagren village on Wednesday.
“Only a few days ago the CRPF fired indiscriminately and martyred four innocent youth in Gagren…their blood has has not even dried up yet when Kashmiris have to mourn again,” he said in a statement.
Mirwaiz said the “unruly” forces of the same CRPF camp killed the youth today – Rafi Rather.
“It has turned into a ‘Killer Camp’,” he added.
The separatist leader has demanded the removal of this camp “and all camps like this”. “Forces have gotten addicted to killing innocent Kashmiris,” he said.
The Mirwaiz has also blamed the government saying they were “equally to blame” for the killings.
He has called for an impartial probe into all the killings by an international agency.
He has also urged the “justice-loving” people and human rights activists of all countries “including India” to raise their voice against “the oppression in Kashmir”.
