SRINAGAR, June 30: A fire broke out in a private tent outside the holy cave shrine of Amarnath, 3800-metres uo in south Kashmir Himalayas, police said on Saturday.
However, no injuries were reported.
The blaze occurred due to leakage of gas in the tent outside the 3880-metre high cave shrine in Anantnag district on Friday night, they said.
The fire was doused within minutes the tent suffered only minor damages.
The Amarnath yatra began on June 25 and will conclude on August 2 coinciding with Hindu festival Raksha Bandhan.
