SRINAGAR, Sept 12: Fire has broken out at a silk factory building in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
Ribbons of smoke curled into the air as flames engulfed the wooden store of the factory at Solina on Srinagar-airport road.
Officials said the store largely housed products meant for auction. The overall extent of damage is yet unclear, as is the cause of the fire.
Dozens of fire tenders from different parts of the city, including fire headquarters Batmaloo, were rushed to control the blaze.
