JAMMU: A day after the Additional PRO of Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand levelled allegations against him, the supporters of the Deputy Chief Minister today staged protests in his support in this winter capital of the state.
Expressing resentment, the locals from the home constituency Khour of the Deputy Chief Minister this afternoon took out a rally in his support from Press Club of Jammu to Minister’s official quarter.
Deputy’s supporters in shape of rally demanded action against those who have levelled the allegations on him with an attempt to tarnish his image.
“The PRO has leveled allegations after the Deputy CM refused to appease him of his demands,” the protestors said, adding that the PRO had taken bribe from some of the official in lieu of their transfers at their favorite places.
The supporters of the Deputy Chief Minister also sought enquiry into the property owned by the PRO.
Deputy Chief Minister’s PRO Kewal Kumar yesterday leveled allegations against him for his involvement in various scams besides corruption and rape charges.
