SRINAGAR: A cyclist was killed and nine others were injured in different accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said here today.
They said a truck hit and critically wounded cyclist Imran Ahmad Rather at Kakpora on Srinagar-Jammu national highway in Pulwama distict.
The injured was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
A motorcyclist and his pillion mate were wounded when a vehicle hit them at Pahloo in south Kashmir district of Kulgam.
Both the injured were hospitalised.
Four people were injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Yatri Niwas on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
