JAMMU: Security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition including Chinese grenades in mountainous Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Based on a tip-off, Rashtriya Rifle personnel and police this afternoon launched search operation in Deolmarg forest area of tehsil Mahore in district Reasi and busted a hideout,” official sources here said.
Sources said arms and ammunition including Under Barrel Grenade Launcher, pistols, magazines, AK-47 rifle magazines, Chinese hand grenades, explosives, binoculars and cameras were recovered from the hideout.
The war-like stores were found inside a natural cave which was about four feet deep and two feet wide.
