SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir cabinet today approved special dispensation for recruitment of teachers on the Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) pattern.
The recruitment will be made in socially and educationally backward areas and near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in border region of Ladakh.
The Cabinet which met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended the validity for filing up regular vacancies of teachers retrospectively with effect from August 4, 2012 till date.
Also the validity has been extended prospectively for the period of two years with effect from today.
