SRINAGAR: A joint team of Jammu and Kashmir police, excise and revenue departments destroyed bhung cultivation in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said here today.
They said on a tip-off, a joint team raided village Zirpora, Bijbehara, in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
During the operation, bhung cultivation spread over 17 kanals of land had been destroyed.
Police have registered cases against the land owners, they said adding no one was arrested.
