SRINAGAR: Two people were attacked and injured by a bear in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said here today.
They said a bear suddenly appeared in village Kanalwan, Bijbehara in Anantnag district from nearby forest and attacked Abdul Gaffar Tantray and Muneera.
Both of them were later rescued from the bear and shifted to hospital in an injured condition, they said, adding bear later escaped back into forest.
